Gavin and Nicole Taylor (Owners)
Hi, we are the Taylor's! I, Nicole, am married to Gavin and took the Nanny Connection over from his mom in 2014. We have two beautiful babies who keep us very active here on island in sports and gymnastics! Childcare is a true passion of mine that I make sure funnels into my agency. I hold my B.S in Health Science with an emphasis in Healthcare Management from California State University, San Bernardino, as well as my M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Chaminade University. As I have such great support from Gavin and Klara in running the day to day of the agency, I am a practicing pediatric mental health therapist on island. Throughout my professional career I have worked as a children’s gym instructor for youth with disabilities, nannied children of all ages, been a supervisor for our Early Intervention team here on Island, and a Family Trainer. The wellness and wellbeing of all children is truly what is most important to me, and how I lead my agency. Thank you for trusting us with your babies!
Klara Shishikin (Manager)
My name is Klara and I’m originally from Vancouver Washington. I have been in Hawaii since 2015 and love it here. I love to be outdoors and explore/adventure. I have been in childcare since the age of 16! I speak Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian and English. I come from a large extended family. I am the oldest in my family. I went to school for early childhood development and nursing. I have many years of experience with caring and babysitting ages 0-15. I love coming up with ideas for arts and crafts to entertain children with various different approaches. I started with the Nanny Connection in 2015 as a Nanny working with families from all over the world. I quickly started working in the office and have been the manager for the last few years! I love organizing the corporate groups and weddings, and you can often find me leading them with our team of nannies. Lastly, I’m also a 1st time mama and couldn’t be more happier stepping in this role!
